No, not at all. I was so sober that I insisted in informing the docs at the ER that the sprain wasnt alcohol related. The sprain was more of a....oh, there's a good short cut to get back to the motel, just gotta hop that one fence......which we did and hours later the sprain showed up when I tried going to sleep and discovered that my foot/ankle wasnt going to let me. Odd but true.

I visited Austin once, got 30 bucks ripped off me by a scumbag at a reggae fest and sprained my ankle going back to the Austin Motel across the street from the Continental Club, resulting in me visiting the local (unbeknownst to me) public hospital in the middle of the night where they diagnosed my injury and gave me a bunch of pain killers for free (which I threw away). All in all, it was still a pretty good time. Saw Alejandro E. the next night on crutches. Lone Star, YEAH!

See, I've tried that option but the problem is the Subway sammichs dont keep well. They are never ever as good as the first day, kinda mushy and stale, sorta like Caliber

I've listened to Slanted & Enchanted a zillion times and not once did the quality of the recording come up. I bought it when it came out, maybe there's different pressings (or whatever?).

The power was just restored after being out for 2 hours. The temp in the house fell 12 degrees in a hour. I was just about to start draining the pipes. I think we'll hold on to the hotel reservation for a while longer and see how it goes. Out there, its minus 12 degrees right now. Normally I like the cold but this is nuts.
