  7. You know it. This line up is the first time I'm actually considering going since the Replacements played on July 4th, 19whatever that was.....when they broke up on stage. That was a fine show.
  8. I just finished this, great read. Amazing how inept the state and feds were. Made me ponder how quickly some humans will revert to anti social behaviour when a few basic luxuries are removed.
  9. Watched "Machete Kills" last night. Needs more boobs and a bit too long but still, it was fun.
  10. Should I repair the catalytic converter ($1400(!)) or just get another car?
  11. EmmyLou playing on Friday the 11th. I'm there. Janelle Monae playing the 10th. I'm there. Both gals have gotten rave reviews on recent shows in Chicago....
  12. Saw Giving Tree Band last Friday night at a community college in LaSalle IL. It was the first time I've seen them since they lost their fiddle and lap steel guitarist. It was an excellent show, lots of energy, some newish tunes too. Its a new band though, much more rockin, much less bluegrassy. I do miss the "highs" that Phil the fiddler provided. We'll see how things progress.
  13. Me too. I was hoping the local library was gonna pick up the 72 box for me......but alas, it wasnt to be.
  14. Thats such a lie, you're just jealous.
  15. I got the soundtrack of that on vinyl at a garage sale some years ago.
  16. Oh, I saw what you did there.
