Nice. Don't agree with everything, but Warmer is excellent. You seem to be missing Sukeriae. And counting that and "Together at Last", it is his 4th solo record.

Lucky enough to find a copy. It's a really good album.

Will also be available for sale at Solid Sound apparently.

I stayed in a motel about 25 miles away last time I went. It was fine, but somewhat irksome to have to drive late at night on pretty basic roads for 40-45 mins. So this time I am staying in town at college dorms. Overpriced, but a 15 min walk from the action apparently. I think they are sold out, but maybe they get cancellations.

he is a regular in the minus 5
Ah I see.

Hope Peter Buck joins wilco one of the nights that would be sweet!
Peter Buck is there?

I think that was the intention in 2015 with Star Wars, but they weren't quite ready.

We could vote for a setlist in realtime via cellphones.
The band could give us 30 seconds to vote on 2 songs and then they can tell which one got the most votes.
No. there are enough cell phones spoiling gigs with their light. They could have a vote in advance setlist I suppose. All requests.

What are the boys going to do for a special Fri night this year? I would settle for Summerteeth in full followed by A Ghost is Born. Another covers set would be cool, hope we don't get another accoustic set. New album played in full? Thoughts?

Any rumors of other acts appearing at SS 2019 yet?

Have only listened once. but am I the only one a bit underwhelmed by the album? I quite liked the last 2 Wilco albums, but he seems to have taken some of the less interesting parts of those and done something that is not too far removed from them. There is a real similarity with those albums (and the Tweedy album) and wonder what is the need for Wilco albums if the solo ones are going to sound virtually the same (excepting Nels' guitar solos) . How does he decide which set of songs go out under which name?
Favorite track: I Know What It's Like.

Wilco opening for REM in 1999 was when I discovered them (I did have Mermaid Ave already), to be fair Wilco absolutely blew REM off stage. They were my favorite band at the time, but were never the same after Bill Berry left.

Very quick compared to past Solid Sounds. I seem to remember February as the month that the line-ups are generally announced, with the three-day schedule out in April/early May.
Thanks!

Early bird tickets appear to be gone. That was pretty quick? When will the line-up likely be announced? Early next year?
-
VIP tickets look interesting, but probably too much for me. Am guessing the surprise pop up is unlikely to be Wilco/Jeff. but you never know! Anybody stay in a dorm room before?

Yours to own forever through amazon's streaming service.

Nice write up. ITMWLY was earlier. I think this setlist is pretty close.

Front row for Kingston and Ottawa
Wonder why itinerary is Kingston-London-Ottawa. Makes little sense to me

I need a Wilco fix. Anybody think there will be more dates announced for later in the year? Preferably in East Canada or North East US for me!
-
Anybody got their chairs in position yet upfront?

Well, it so happens I completely agree. In fact, if I may share a specific recommendation, listen late at night when you've just gone to bed but are not too sleepy, hit the bong a couple of times and just lay back and listen fairly loud, in the dark.
Don't smoke in bed.
