Thats weird because I see this one as more of a band record, although the lyrics seem much more personal than anything else, so I can see that side too. But musically it seems like he let the band do what they wanted in the context of the songs.

I kind of figured it fell under this clause. Rereading it I suppose it doesn't. But at least it shut everyone up for a few minutes... My bad. I had a bunch of posts that I deleted. I don't use that one ever, really.

That is not the point. First of all, for those of us who care about the community being allowed to continue with the support of the band, we can't just do what we want. The band has been completely gracious with allowing their fans to hear their music, and I don't think we want to do anything that will make them less likely to do that in the future. And secondly, we don't want the people who run this site to get in trouble for us. If people keep posting links to commercial albums eventually the board could get shut down.

I see everyone donned their monocles and climbed up to the tops of their pedestals before posting, and I just have to say "thank you" to all who did. Anyone who is staying out of the pissing matches is a loser.

Jeff told me to tell you guys that he's really dissapointed in Caliber and that he's "quitting the fooking board".

I think we had more Chris's than "nothin's" last night. And it was taped.

I once walked 15 miles in the snow to see Jeff Tweedy play in a hammock. But the show got cancelled because Jeff couldn't stop getting tangled in the hammock and he fell out. It was rough on everyone.
