We should just note that both "Acuff Rose" and "California Stars" were played sans P.A. on the end of the stage. He was practically stepping on Erin's little sister. I'm starting to think Paul McCartney wrote "Hate It Here" for McCartney but new it was best sung by Jeff Tweedy 37 years in the future.

Wilco has done what they've been threatening to do for a while and have gone ahead and made a late period Beatles album.

For the record, Jeff told me today that it's his favorite album ever. He also said he's sad that the village voice called it "sucky". I listened to it once through after the show tonight, and I have to say it is all kinds of things, but it is most certainly not "sucky". And "Impossible Germany" is probably going to be the new highlight of his solo shows. That was awesome.
