  1. It sounded like "How To Fight Loneliness" was played pretty much the same way as can be found on gumbopages.
  2. What was the point of that, by the way? I mean believe me, I appreciate the compliment, really, but what was your motivation? I'm curious what kind of thought goes into such well articulated posts.
  3. I don't think Pujol's comments in that article were any more dick-ish. It was the same motivation.
  4. That seems like a reasonable thing to do. Sure it's a cheap emotional ploy, but it's not a morally reprehensible thing to do.
  5. These are MP3's you can put on your ipod, right?
  6. Remember when he was whining about giving Jeter the MVP? That was about as bad as Pujols whining about this guy not thinking he'd make it to the majors. With every prospect it's 50-50 at best that they'll make it. Think of all the great prospects who never even made it.
  7. No bigger a dick than David Ortiz, or Derek Jeter (remember how he threw A-rod under the bus this year?), or Kenny Rogers (attacked a camera man for doing his job), or any number of star athletes who are dicks. Most are.
  8. He's probably not my pick, but he's definetly in my top 5. I'd probably go with John Mayer or James Blount, personally.
  9. Listen to his work in the 60's. Listen to Cream. Listen to his blues work. Listen to Cream. Listen to Derek and the Dominoes. Listen to Cream. For god's sake, listen to Cream. Not really. I mean, pretty much every reliable statistic will say Babe Ruth is the greatest player of all time. Thats the difference. There are no stats for guitar. No sabermetrics detailing their ability to move up and down a scale. You are comparing apples and plutonium here. A better analogy is like asking who the greatest bassist or drummer or singer is.
  10. Admittedly, it was easier to put word's in Schiavo's mouth, among other things.. What with the feeding tube.
  11. Limbaugh mocks Michael J. Fox political ad Conservative talk show host accuses actor of faking Parkinson's disease By David Montgomery Possibly worse than making fun of someone's disability is saying that it's imaginary. That is not to mock someone's body, but to challenge a person's guts, integrity, sanity. To Rush Limbaugh on Monday, Michael J. Fox looked like a faker. The actor, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, has done a series of political ads supporting candidates who favor stem cell research, including Maryland Democrat Ben Cardin, who is running against Republican Michael Stee
  12. Tyson Chandler is the poor man's Ben Wallace.
  13. My mom being from Peurto Rico and my dad being from Pittsburgh, Clemente is pretty much a god in my house. My dad considers him the greatest player he ever got to see play live. It's amazing how much the public opinion of Delgado has changed since he came to New York. Remember when everyone absolutely hated hime for not standing for "God Bless America"?
  14. I've always been amazed by Chris Carpenter because he never really blows you away with his stuff, but he's such an effective pitcher.
  15. I've got plenty more back pages where that came from, Mets fans. Next season should be fun. I'm not thinking we'll challenge for the division crown just yet, but I have no problem being a wild card. It's worked out pretty well for us in the past.
  16. I didn't notice the talking much during the songs on the dvd, with the exception of the people who were yelling out to him, which he seemed to be enjoying.
  17. Didn't he like stab himself in the heart with a steak knife? How is that getting back on track? I don't have any opinion on this, other than he made good music, I just thought that was a bit of an odd choice of words. I don't mean to be a dick, and I know I'm probably coming off as a huge dick, but I always thought it was a suicide?
  18. So I have to write this paper now, and I'm going to listen to the DVD while doing it. "'How did you get so insightful?' 'Well you know, insight is overrated' 'Thats very insightful'" He's really funny on this dvd. Although does anyone think it's kind of painful to hear all this talk about his rehab stay? I mean, he's making jokes about it, but it seems a little tough.
