  1. So I'm watching Saw II. This movie is terrible, and affirms my belief that with the exception of Zombie movies, the horror genre peaked with The Thing. My friends are giving me shit for not wanting to watch it. Faced with the choice of Wilco on the Webcast or Saw II, it's not even a question. I'll be antisocial 10 times out of 10.
  2. Well, the Marlins have effectively played themselves out of the Wild Card with what is going to be a 3 game series with at least 8 errors, and possibly more. Girardi needs to go into that clubhouse and tear them a new one. They are playing like a little league team. It's disgraceful. I've been to two games in the past week and I've left in the 6th in both because the team was just making me so mad I couldn't stay.
  3. Ouch. Vibes. In other news, Jaws was never my scene and I don't like Star Wars. Which isn't true. I do like Star Wars. Jaws I could do without.
  4. This is really good. Like, really good. I love it. "Hands" sounds like a Beatles song or something. It's great.
  5. I have 4 tickets to the Marlins game tonight, but I don't think I'm gonna go...
  6. No, but I think I killed the thread with the cat picture, so I decided to go with the admittedly much safer list of Close and Late home runs.
  7. Craig Monroe has hit nine homers this season in the seventh inning or later with the difference in the game two runs or fewer. That ties him with Boston's David Ortiz for the most such homers by any player in the majors, according to research by homer historian and analyst David Vincent. Until Friday, when Ortiz hit his ninth-such homer, Monroe had been tied in that department with Albert Pujols of St. Louis and Ortiz. Here's a list: David Ortiz 9 Craig Monroe 9 Albert Pujols 8 Vernon Wells 7 Jeff Francoeur 6 Carlos Lee 6 Richie Sexson 6
  8. I got back 15 minutes after the set started. But I did get the Raconteurs cd plus the Old 97's greatest hits!
  9. Yes, I am looking forward to RA. I'm considering running out to B&N between the Raconteurs and RA, but I'm not sure if I've got enough time. This song "Yellow Sun" (I think) is great.
  10. Blender is the worst of them all. Always have these pointless lists and terrible reviews. I always get suckered into buying it by the barely clothed starlets on the cover
  11. It's playing really clear and with no buffering on my sister's computer. The Raconteurs are awesome. I definetly need to go pick up that cd, and may do so tonight.
  12. Well, I wasn't supposed to be there. I had dreams of it.
  13. Certainly much more intimidating than Billy The Marlin:
