Sir Stewart replied to lost highway's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
The superdelegate fight is about to help turn the Dem race on its head: http://www.inquisitr.com/2852213/nancy-pelosi-just-dropped-presidential-campaign-bombshell/ http://www.huffingtonpost.com/h-a-goodman/obamas-justice-department-gave-bernie-sanders-presidency_b_9372012.html Both of those pieces are bulging with hyperbole, but what could be happening here is astonishing. -
The NY Times piece calling Dignity "minor" is poor reporting. They make it sound like it's Wiggle Wiggle. And the average reader might nod and think sarcastically "Great, this will be worthwhile."

I'm too busy terrorized at the reality of where Trump stands today, terrorized by the attitudes of those who stand with him, including voting for him, and terrorized by the thought of this is really happening today, right now, to be worried about whether or not he could win the general election. Anyway, even if he does lose, it's not as if he'll slink away like a Mittens - he has his empire either way. The country will never rid itself of him now. -

Trump vs Sanders is the real story here though we probably won't ever hear the bell ding for that fight. Since 9/11, we've been devolving deeper into a culture that feeds on primal fears on all sides, and these two men's campaigns are the manifestation of where our country is right now. Everyone else is a distraction at this point. Trump vs Bernie would fast-track the civil war that's already on our horizon. And Bernie would win. Because, even as a commie, Bernie is an old white guy. Many old white guys who don't like Trump would, in a general election, shrug and vote for Bernie just to have a -
They're throwing Exile on vinyl at us again. Half-speed master. Maybe this is the one.

I think I'd have to go with Trump calling Ted Cruz a basketcase. -

This Village Voice by Holly Wood is pretty much where I come down on the Clinton/Sanders culture war -

Love all this Street Legal talk. One of those lesser-but-close-to-the-heart Dylan albums.

And, also, you were at least 50% wrong. These are both gonna be so wrong. Actually I forgot about the "wide margins" prediction. You were 100% wrong. -
I watched the first episode last night and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Thought it had all the elements of the old show, right down to the low-rent special effects and the fun, awkward melodrama that was always part of the show's DNA. Much better than that POS movie from 2008.

"Wrong" is a relative reply, btw. I didn't say you were wrong about, say, the viability of the Iran deal. That would be glib of me. I said you would be proven wrong about an election prediction. That didn't call for the response you gave. -

Sound & Vision is the song that I have long used to get a song out of my head. Works every time and never wears out its welcome.
