I blame Prince. And Billy Corgan.

Well, Electric Ladyland is chock full of tunes that haven't been overexposed.
-
Only after I opened it to post that - your last post closed it! I take it that wasn't on purpose then? (see the SP 'Zeitgeist' thread - same thing there)

I just got to the point in book 6 where Slughorn refers to Ron as "Rupert." I haven't seen any of the movies, but I suspect that's the only direct nod/wink to the screen versions in any of the books.

I know what you mean, but I can answer that she's doing fantastic in that scene.

My threads have not had good luck staying open this week...

Ep 1 is viewable on that site. And Reggie bars tasted great.
-
Yeah, mountain bed, definitely not disappointed - yours is awezome.

My lovely and talented wife...

Oh my, I'm not sure I'll be able to take David Cross as Allen Ginsberg seriously.

I've never been less disappointed.

Shit, "The Phoenix" is pure fucking power.

Those baseball card captions are funny as hell. Cobb...offhand, I can't say for sure. -shamed- Safe to say there was one of his gloves involved.

I remember when tickets looked like that. Pedro! From the wall of no-hitters. I was surprised to see this, but I guess it counts as far as nine-innings/no-nuthin goes. Class of 2007 placeholders. I saw a commomorative Tony Gwynn game jersey running for $249 in the store. Yikes. My sock. The sock!

As threatened, pics from my visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame & Mvsevm. (You'll note the Red Sox/Yankees-centric nature of these, my apologies) (The HOF is not very photo-friendly, lighting-wise, but the atmosphere the lighting creates as one walks through is a hell of a nice trade-off for better pics) Great wooden statues of The Babe and Teddy Baseball greet you once you enter - the uniform pics are from Ruth's 'room' (best part of the whole damn building) and Williams' display Roberto! Hustle! Mr. October Pudge Fisk's uniform

No big laughs in that, no, but I think it looks like it will be a stellar movie theater experience.
-
Second trailer Okay! This looks good!
-
Nice piece - thanks for the samples.

Great idea.

When I saw him at that club in Worcester in '99, he opened (!) with "Uptown." Crazy.
-
I watched Redux (sober) for the first time a couple of months ago. Man, whatta piece of work.
-
Wow. I would give I don't know what to see one of those shows. I saw him in a club once in 99, but it was a regular show, not an 'after show', but it was still "pretty much the best thing evah."

Disney's Fantasia, the Rite of Spring segment, anyway. 2001: A Space Odyssey
