You mean "people who have been convicted of possession of illegal drugs (even marijuana)" right?
-
Yeah.
-
So you were in support of the administration's stance?
-
Yeah, I was wondering if I was being biased going in because just seeing Elizabeth Wurtzel's name takes me back to her Prozac Nation-fueled time in the limelight in the 90s. She's always been annoying and pretty useless as a writer.

Pretty sure I won't hear a better new album this year than Janelle MonĂ¡e's The Electric Lady.

Hell yeah. Congrats on discovering a great album. At some point you may want to get familiar with their follow-up, Midnight Marauders. And to a lesser extent, their debut. Other than that, you can ignore their output, pretty much. Other hiphop records you may enjoy, based on this development: De La Soul's Buhloone Mindstate, Jurassic 5's Quality Control, and The Roots' Things Fall Apart. -

Is that a reply to my question about your Christian question?
-
-
True. I'm curious as to why you're asking this question.

I wish I could locate the interview - I know my answer appeared snarky/knee-jerk, but Atticus's question made me think immediately of an interview of Bush from sometime during his presidency, where he's in the White House, maybe the Oval Office, pointing out a painting on the wall and explaining its meaning to him (it depicts a war scene) and he said something along the lines of Christ put him in this role (wartime president) to spread Christ's words and teachings. I've just searched a ton of videos and can't find the clip. Maybe I dreamt it.

Also, Greil Marcus's Invisible Republic, now renamed The Old Weird America, I think.

There's valuable criticism of a point made, then there's histrionical "HOW DARE THEE SIR!"

Crow was, as he stated, speaking anecdotally.
