  1. Did you narrow this down yet? I am wondering for a friend.
  2. I took way too long to get into The Clash. I was like 26 when I finally got them.
  3. Now I have KC & The Sunshine Band's Give It Up in my head, except it's Paul Stanley singing and he's singing 'lick it up' instead of 'give it up'. This is usually what happens when I see that song title in print. Then it passes and I hear Lick It Up.
  4. It was a Muncho and it wasn't Jeff Tweedy.
  5. Everyone do yourselves a favor and don't Google image search "NSFL".
  6. I feel bad about what I said about Bob Seger.
  7. Yikes. Thanks for the account. Having lived there just about all my life except for the past two years, there is a very strange disconnect in how my brain is processing all this: I'm right down the street from all this! Oh wait, I'm 300 miles away...
  8. The promotional campaign for this album is among my favorites ever. So caught up in it. And finally, it's close to coming out. Anyone else ready?
  9. Frozen pizza? What are you, an invalid?
  10. How the fuck does that work, Jackass of Joy?
  11. For years I fooled myself that I liked the NL better because of the pitcher being in the lineup instead of a designated hitter. I've stopped doing that. It's liberating.
  12. 100K would be kinda wealthy for a single person. For a family man, it's certainly not.
  13. You should check out Wilco The Album!
  14. I guess it's true if you all say so - maybe I just don't want to lump Summerteeth in with what I think of as compressed, shitty sounding stuff like Linkin Park and P!nk.
  15. It's certainly a loud mix, but compressed, really?
  16. So that's where Oliver Stone got the line "What's wrong with being a large mammal?"
  17. Anyone I know personally who's against this claims it's not the Supreme Court's business, that it should be a state concern. And they usually back it up with the usual, obvious "another example of overreaching government" argument.
