  1. Boy this brings new meaning to the term "Gay guy who plays in the NBA!"
  2. FYI: #28 is not "23 Piles of Crap in the Hotel Bathroom"
  3. I hate that too, especially since it completely ruins any association I had between that song and Kill Bill.
  4. That's awesome. I don't even want to get into how dreadful The Break-Up was. It's remarkable how an awful film can irk my sensibilities and make me obsessed with pointing out the millions of things that made me hate it. I watched it last night, and can't stop thinking about what a humorless, cynical, dull POS it was.
  5. The new one will indeed go gold in a few months, easily.
  6. I think it was called "My Hand Shoved In Me"
  7. Didn't the Coz work some kind of New Coke/Jell-O Pudding Pop 2-fer deal back in the day?
  8. "When The World Is Running Down" Now that would be the shit.
  9. I've never read any of the books or seen any of the movies, but I'd bet my checking account that he doesn't die.
  10. I don't think we live in a world where The Police could get away with not doing "Roxanne" at the Grammys.
  11. Maybe this is all for the best. Black is kind of white, if you think about it.
  12. That will happen. The paper with the scoop is the one I used to work for, and they get all their Fenway info straight from the top. A Fenway show makes the Police reunion more exciting for me, as I can bike down there and join the party on Lansdowne St, for free!
  13. Anotherloverholeinyohead. Great song off of Parade, an underrated Prince classic.
  14. What's the song Ritz crackers is using now? I forget, but I recall being a little annoyed.
  15. I saw Disappearances over the weekend at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge. Kris Kristofferson and Genevive (sp) Bujold are heads of a family in Prohibition-era Vermont, raising a strong-headed boy who may join his father in the bootlegging business. Mystical, odd, funny, violent - kinda reminded me of Dylan and The Band's basement tapes.
  16. I think the gov't issued copies of Purple Rain to everybody with a SS#.
  17. And Joni Mitchell and George Clinton and Bob Dylan and The Beatles and Rick James and George Duke and the Rolling Stones and The Stylistics and Luther Vandross and
  18. Not a great song, but: Standing In For Joe by XTC
