On the flip side of all this, I never heard 'Sittin On the Dock of the Bay' before I was 10 and it was in a Hires root beer ad. I used to look forward to that commercial coming on and got the warmest feeling whenever I saw it.

It was a misunderstanding, but not simply. It's illegal advertising, if nothing else. Corporations thinking they can use any public space to push their product is really the heart of this matter.

And they've been together for while now, playing shows. This isn't a reunion tour anymore.
