  1. If I ever met Mitt, I'd say "Why do you hate Massachusetts?"
  2. A friend of mine was in the Bosstones for a spell, when they were riding the Impression wave. He played organ on Conan and SNL, and toured a bit with them. Just sayin.
  3. My favorite disaster film is either Earthquake or The Towering Inferno.
  4. I don't like that song much, but thanks to the stereogum link I just watched the Altered State of Druggachussettes for the 1,000 time. Best skit ever.
  5. CAROLYN I see you're smoking pot now. I'm so glad. I think using illegal psychotropic substances is a very positive example to set for our daughter. LESTER You're one to talk, you bloodless, money- grubbing freak.
  6. Agreed. The climax shot of "Jaws" smashing through the observation window is pure ejaculate of kitsch.
  7. Mitt Romney is a 100% toolbag. Let's not overlook that.
  8. Way far away. Too much compy. Thanks for noticing!
  9. What the hell happened to Rosario Dawson's looks? It's like someone inflated all the wrong bits on her face.
  10. Back on topic: Dignan responds In a statement released by his spokeswoman, Ina Treciokas, Wilson said: "I have never heard the song 'Cousin Dupree' and I don't even know who this gentleman, Mr. Steely Dan, is. I hope this helps to clear things up and I can get back to concentrating on my new movie, HEY 19. "
  11. Went to see A Scanner Darkly last night. The rotoscope animation that added so much to the dreamworld of Waking Life quickly became distracting and gimmicky in this more linear and dramatic story. Except the scramble suits. Those were cool. Saw Miami Vice opening night. Awesome flick. Stupid dialogue, ridiculous love scenes, terrible music (at least twice I thought 'Audioslave again?!'), spectacular action sequences, cool acting, breathtaking scenery. Intoxicating. Also, the most faithful film adaptation of a television series ever. That in itself is quite remarkable.
  12. The whole album (except "Down Along the Cove", which I always think is on Nashville Skyline) finds Dylan tapped into this God-fearing American pioneer vein which I find intoxicating.
  13. You're closer than you can even imagine.
  14. That Jesus pic just got me ready for the weekend.
  15. You're all saying the crazy things.
