True!
-
There will be at least 3 of us there all 3 nights - probably more.
-
Yep, that was me, I remember your handle also. We'll have to try to meet in person at the show.
-
You guys don't really know me but I'll be there all 3 nights.

That little in-store was a great time. With all of the kids there I wished I would have brought my 3 year old daughter. FYI, I just posted a link to my recording of the show in the "In a Future Age" section of this site.

Not sure on the other bands but I can confirm that this is the request of Wilco's live engineer. -
There's still the Pageant pre sale tomorrow at 11 and the regular onsale through Ticketmaster on Friday at 5.
-
Got mine for Saturday so I am set for all 3 nights.

I did the Booches > soundcheck last year - apparently Tweedy had just left Booches before I arrived. I did the Shakespeare's > soundcheck in 2005 - or maybe it was soundcheck > Shakespeare's, can't remember.

Did someone say Shakespeare's Pepperoni and pepper cheese on whole wheat crust please

This Red Roof is probably a good low cost option. The Hampton Inn on Oakland would be a good mid priced option - includes a decent sports bar/restaurant adjoining. This would be for those driving to the show - neither is close to a Metro Link train stop.

The tables and chairs on the main floor will all be GA on a first come basis - the "dance floor" is standing room. There is also a row of GA bar stools and standing room behind the seats in the balcony. For most big shows like this they will take out the row of tables and bar stools between the floor and the sound board so that will likely be standing room except for 1 row of chairs at the drink rail.
-
GA downstairs and reserved upstairs.
-
The whole bottom floor will be GA and the upstairs will be reserved seats. There are only 4 rows of seats upstairs. You can buy seats and still go back and forth between upstairs and downstairs.

Yes, there were definitely some annoying talkers near where I was taping from at the show. When that particular girl originally showed up I knew I was in trouble when she was sloppily hugging her friends an announcing very excitedly how drunk she was. Tweedy dedicated one of the songs to a girl (Melissa or something like that), and one of the girls in that group said it was for her. Pretty disappointing that she had a song dedicated to her considering she had been facing away from the stage talking for most of the show. Then there was the guy to the right of me clapping incessantly at inapprop

Great live band plus a great sound guy sure do make for consistently good recordings. We are lucky to have both with Wilco and fortunate that they allow taping.

No I sure didn't make the Little Rock show and I haven't seen it out there yet. I will keep an eye out for it though.
-
Sure it would be great if you worked on some cover art! Oh, I was set up about half way between the board and the stage dead center on a stand about 9' tall.
