Yep, Nixon was the first of the three illegitimate GOP presidents so far in my lifetime. Damn, such harm they've done to America and the world. What a shame.

First of three that negotiated with or have been accused of negotiating against US interests. Nixon with the peace process, Reagan suspected of negotiating with Iran on the hostages, and Trump negotiating for personal profit. I'm beginning to see a pattern developing here. But that's for the other thread. The Vietnam show is just fascinating to me.

I didn't realize that the Johnson admin had pretty much busted the Nixon campaign for interfering in the peace process and didn't call them on it because they didn't want to compromise the intelligence source they learned it from. Johnson tossed the word treason around while talking about it.

Pitt. Especially since Pitt, knows that Glennon sucks. They could have loaded up the box to prevent the run and applied pressure to glennon. Glennon has almost no ability as a QB once he leaves the pocket. Glad they won though.

The GOP isn't failing, they are just succeeding at a slower pace. Because of the uncertainty created by what they are doing insurance premiums are going up this year, which they will blame on. The ACA. They are doing all they can to shut down the ACA websites this year, scheduled outages every week during the sign up period...they will of course blame it on the ACA.

The president swore an oath to uphold the laws of the United States, yet here he is actively trying to sabotage a law. Too bad the GOP are solely focused on overturning everything obama did and getting as much $$ to the ultra spoiled mega rich billenials to care about the rest of the country.

It's amazing how early we had people who knew we couldn't win yet still went ahead just to fight against the communists.

I find it funny (ironically) that he goes among the "liberal Hollywood elite" and be welcomed, ditto to the dreaded Harvard.

Personally I think he wants the attention. If the stories are even remotely true that he scans tv continually for mentions of himself, then Yesterday and the hurricane had to be a blow to his ego. So today Trump...signs an order banning transgender, cutting off treatment for those serving and I believe starts the process of removing them from The service.

Signed a sanctions bill against Venezuela...exempting Citgo which I believe is 49% owned by the large Russian oil co...which Trump is rumored to have received stock of in exchange for dropping sanctions against Russia (though that didn't work out)

Apparently his Sfghan strategy is all about mini skirts. I guess McMaster showed him s photo of afghan women wearing minis in the 70s and that helped trump decide.

The Afghan solution appears to be "goad India and Pakistan into war then leave Afghanistan while the worlds attention is focused on that.
