The people he appointed are generally in the top 1% of the top 1%, so they really don't care about their employment the way you or I might. Hell even bannon, who is a relative pauper in this administration is worth more than everybody who has ever posted on this board will ever be worth in total. (His wealth is in the hundreds of millions). So these people who are tearing down the govt are eithe ideologes, like DeVos, who openly disdain their agency on philosophical grounds. Or they are tearing down their agencies as a way to higher corporate profits for themselves or cronies, like price. I'm sure others have more nuanced reasoning, but regardless of their reasoning they intend to get the govt to a point where norquist can drown it in the bathtub...except the security apparatus. They love that because I fully believe they intend to use it to control the population at home and the military arm of it to project power and seize resources, at least if we are to believe trump.

Bannon has admitted what any casual observer could see about trumps cabinet picks... that they were chosen to deconstruct their agencies. Makes total sense since so many of them seem openly hostile towards the agencies they were appointed to run.

His fan base thinks that he was awesome at the presser and that he bitch slapped the press.

Rush actually wants to know what the president knows and when he knew it. Not president trump though, he wants to know Obama's part in this tale. Stunning.

As to the Trump presidency unraveling, I don't think so. From my perspective maybe, but unless congress gets on board not so much. If trump fires investigators and attorneys (speculation that Flynn investigation is what got Yates fired with immigration thing used as cover) and congress turns a blind eye, then what? The presidency remains intact and dirty as ever with just a few sacrificial lambs. This kind of makes the Republican Party leadership complicit in trumps crimes. Speaking of complicit Hannity is crazier than ever in defending trump.

Couple of things...

1) after spending years accusing the Obama administration of being weak on enforcing immigration laws fox news (bill-o) did a bit on the hypocrisy of the  left complaining about Trumps immigration policy and deportation raids while the Obama admin expelled people at a record ate during his two terms.I doubt any fox viewers will be able to spot that BOR is admitting that trump was tough on immigration during all those years that fox said he wasn't.

AND there are multiple stories out there that say us investigators have confirmed portions of the infamous russian dosier.

Today I'm Hearing Television for the first time.

What I can't understand is, why Republicans hate public education so much. Is it the fact that it is taxes? Is it unions? Is it the fact they teach science and facts?

Think about things that the very wealthy don't personally use and you'll have a list of some of their targets. For the most part the wealthy tend to send their kids to private schools, but they pay for both public schools through their taxes and for private school via tuition. If they can get the government to give them back their hard earned cash to use for private school tuition then that's great. It's been part of their rhetoric for years.

So, what's this I hear about a terrorist attack in Paris? San Bernardino? Orlando? Why are the press refusing to cover these things? //

My kids are older and despise trump, but they disposed him Long before he deciddd to run. One of them had a chance to shake trumps hand, looked him in the eye and pulled his hand away. Good kid.

I have friends who are Jewish, with the mom of one being a holocaust survivor. They are scared shirtless. The mom has told them that this feels very much like Germany in the 30's, so their kids have heard this and are very frightened. To soothe the kids they have developed an exit plan to leave the country before it reaches the point of no return...if it does.

There was s memorial service for Evans this weekend. The didjits performed w/o a bassist in tribute.

And...Trump has already filed the paperwork to run again in 2020. It was filed within hours of his inauguration. I think that is a record, and very optimistic.

I'm not certain if the minority party can introduce articles of impeachment or conduct official hearings without the majority party's consent. I'm not sure they can't either, we shall see.

Anyhow apparently immigration officials are not complying with the court order. If instructions to that effect came from the WH then there is your impeachable action, or at least one impeachable offense. At LAX supposedly immigration guys turned away two congressmen saying that they work for Trump. If true that leads me to believe that the WH is telling them to ignore the courts.

Heard Hey Ya on the radio today and realised that I heard the Supersuckers version before i heard the real one, which I just heard today for the first time.

Within the last hour or so a Federal judge put a stay order on the ban. So that has happened.  OF course Im sure an appeal is coming.

Also the NSC has been mixed up with THe CHairman of the JCOS and the director of national intelligence dropped and Steve Bannon has been added.  Sounds about right to me.
