Anything for Stephen Colbert. Is it wrong that I find him attractive?
One of my friends has a huge crush on him. I'm more of a Jon Stewart gal, myself.

I'd hit it.

Oh jeez, that's tonight. I dunno if I'll be going - probably not.

this is the cutest picture ever
I know!
I don't think Robyn is actually leaning against Colin's back in that photo, but it looks like it.

Or George's pants. Wow!
If I were a guy, I'd totally spring for one of the suits on that site. Those are pretty awesome.

That chick needs to ease off the collagen. It looks like her lips are going to explode.
P.S. Happy birthday Aman!

The Venezuelan president said Bush is "more dangerous than a monkey with a razor blade."
Oh snap.
I kind of agree with him on that one, actually.

Worst. Fake. Blood. Ever.
Yeah, he looks like he had an accident while eating a chocolate sundae.
Pointless trivia: I think the "girlfriend" in the video is the new Decemberist, who is in a Portland band called Talkdemonic (and works at a local coffeeshop). I can't remember her name, though.

sorry, i just kinda freaked. but i was really irritated that night when that happened. i wanted to find the guy who wrote it and choke him with his internet cable.
i apologize for calling you an asshole.
It's cool, dude.
I'm hoping that Snape's a rogue agent who's out for himself. That's a lot cooler than being a good guy or a bad guy.

you know, thats not funny asshole. i had the 6th book ruined for me by someone who decided to post that on the internet.
Someone ruined it for me too. It's just a book.
Thanks for calling me an asshole, though!

Yeah, I have a couple of Shrimpboat albums that I found used.
Yay, new Sea and Cake!

The Portland in-jokes are kinda funny, but I liked the "16 Military Wives" video better.

Happy birthday!

The guy who started it goes on Found tours with his brother, too. I missed it when it came to town.
That guy went to my high school, and is also my cousin by marriage. True fact.

Happy Bee Day!

Happy birthday, ladies! Pudding for all!

I was just listening to a guy on the local community-run radio station giving a review of last night's show. He said that Jeff was "charming and witty" and that he "had the audience in the palm of his hand." I agree.
It was kind of a weird venue - Hogg Auditorium is an old lecture hall, I think, with fold-down desks attached to the seats, and I overheard some people saying they'd taken exams there. I liked it, though, and it had really good sound. Both shows were great - awesome setlists and good-natured, respectful audiences. I think I liked the second night a little better, mostly because I had a better seat and Jeff wasn't a teeny-tiny figure off in the distance. Anyway, I'm really glad I went to both shows.

btw, what are those resteraunts Jeff mentioned he went to. I've lived here for about a half a year and pretty much stick only to Matt's El Rancho, Vinny's and The Salt Lick because my roomate won't eat anywhere else (not complaining though).
Guero's is a Mexican place on South Congress. I didn't recognize the other names.

Jeff was totally surly.
More reviewage when I'm less tired.

Chinese Apple!!!!!
(More coherent review later.)

clearly the PDX's finest attraction is Voodoo Doughnut
How can you not love a (almost) 24-hour doughnut shop?

i drove past nat's old street and got misty.
I like Austin, but I can't wait to get back to ye olde PDX. It's a great town.
That's enough Sufjan Stevens

I took about 3/4 of Illinoise off my iPod recently. He's talented, but he's just so precious.
That said, "Casimir Pulaski Day" is an amazing song and gets me choked up every time I hear it.
