So true. Not as good as EATT, but what could be? now:

I'm seeing that show on Sunday. The only time I saw Art Brut live was at Monolith... it'll probably be real different in a smallish club... now:

Did you see them back in March in Denver as well? I liked that show better than the one last month. Still great though. I like how Frank's head almost touches the Larimer Lounge ceiling. That dude is tall...

Hey, Chad, good to "see" ya! thanks for the info.
-
I'd recommend: 1) The Sunset Tree 2) We Shall All Be Healed 3) Get Lonely And that's all the MG material I have currently.
-
great show last night. I think I'm officially on a MG binge.

I am SO glad I got a self-released copy...

in preparation for tonight's show...

I saw them last month, great show but slightly less energetic than the previous time I'd seen them. Still, always a great show from my experience. Delta Spirit didn't open though... I can't remember who did 'cause I was up front at the bar watching baseball until Dr. Dog came on.

oooooh, another good one!

the other thread made me want to pull out some of the great albums of this year, so now:
-
Hissing Fauna is incredible... it's just that there are like 20 albums I can say that about this year... Some Bon Iver info: http://www.virb.com/boniver - maybe the one you've already been to, but that's the most info I've seen on him.
-
Menomena - Friend And Foe
-
oops, I forgot Kevin Drew... yeah, that one's pretty good too.
-
I am so in love with this album. could easily be a top 10 if there weren't so damn many great ones this year!
-
figures.
-
they were supposed to open for Aqueduct this wednesday, so I got a ticket a while back, now they're no longer listed... I like Aqueduct live, but I was looking forward to seeing Georgie James too...
