  1. Okay, here's what i would add that's pretty sure Island in the Sun (1982)...first album rejected by geffen. tropical album with some of the tunes that ended up on trans. Times Square (1989)...album that became Freedom that neil pulled or was rejected. Human highway was supposed to be a CSNY album. maybe a few of those tunes would just be on the next archives, rather than as an album proper. possible additions: TFA II (1973) APS? Homegrown SRS 1 not sure about chrome dreams being an actual album Crazy horse 76 show Comes A Time acoustic with different track list. Ducks Show Trans band
  2. i've had several coworkers and family members in the past ask me what lists i'm always making. you're not alone:)
  3. this is awesome man! now, i'm wondering, what are the archive discs called ARS...? looking at your list, the live series doesn't seem to fit in the archive box at all. i'm gonna study this a bit. thanks. good work.
  4. http://www.farmaid.org/site/c.qlI5IhNVJsE/b.5456909/k.390B/2009_Webcast.htm just caught impossible and hate it. damn, i missed nova! i love jeff's lead playing and john and glenn are just soooooo good.
  5. glad it was fun. i wanted to see them a few times, but tix were pricey. getting old is no big deal, but i have to wonder how long these bands can keep it up. i worry about the 'dinosaurs'. i really wish they focused on recording good music an doing their own festivals in their own towns. residencies as it were. as far as stills goes, i actually liked his album Stills, which was a gathering of outtakes and loose ends. good stuff. unfortunately, he was always shadowed by neil young and of course cocaine. he has a live dvd coming out in october from a recent tour. don't know how that i
  6. i really liked him live with the dead and the other ones. he really sings the jerry songs so well. i've seen him a few times. once he had all the women come on stage and dance with him. my wife went up and stole one of his water bottles. she said he was really tall i like habor lights, there's some nice jerry garcia and pat metheny solos on there.
  7. i like abacab. me and sara jane is great as is the synth solo on dodo/lurker.
  8. i heard Born into the light at the grocery store yesterday. kinda cool.
  9. remember SHF? poco will be fun. rusty young and paul cotton are left. still have nice harmonies. wish some of their old albums would get remastered. i always loved the songs keep on tryin' and indian summer.
  10. chris hillman looks so cool in these videos.
  11. that's the way i am with neil young. always come back to him. even the crap, i love!
  12. just so i understand you, some of the criticism is warranted? seriously, just tryin' to understand. you're probably right.
  13. well put. i've been known to say ridiculous, reactionary things here. it's no good for anyone. one of my goals in the next few weeks is to take a break from the internet. i really can't think of anything good that's come of it, other than making anxious about ridiculous things.
  14. does the search seem to be really compressed recording? i finally got the 'bonus' tracks on itunes and they get all distorted at high volumes. anyone else notice this? it may be my earphones. okemah was produced well, as was ACD,
  15. so will this be the 3rd Gob Iron installation? I know there was gonna be a second that hasn't come out yet. Farrar is a busy man.
  16. i need to check out that cheap trick album. have you heard that self titled album they put out in the late 90s. i heard it's supposed to be good.
  17. looking forward to seeing them crooked vultures. also, seeing pearl jam on that small stage will be coo.
  18. i really liked the journalism part of that season.
  19. good to hear the remasters are good. And Then There Were Three needed a lot of help. It always sounded muddy to me. Maybe I'll pick that one up. Thanks for the info. btw-i did my own edited version of the duke suite once. pretty fun.
  20. as far as that long Duke Suite, wasn't Turn It On Again supposed to be part of that? also, has anyone heard the 2007 remixed versions of the albums. some reviews say they sound too 80s-ish.
  21. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but for what it's worth, I wanted to apologize for being an asshole in this public forum. It was ridiculous. I made assumptions and created unnecessary animosity. I am very sorry. Peace- Craig (Rider)
