I kind of speed read it and even then it hurt to try and read her terrible style, or lack of it. Then again she works for a paper and she thinks she is down with the kids...I am sure someone in her stockbroker circle of friends found it a marvellous jape all together. I knew bugger all about the Decemberists till some friend gave me this album. Knocked my socks off at first listen, which doesn't happen often.

This was a wonderful programme. Really intimate and informative and plenty of songs. Peter Buck seems to be enjoying just being a guitar man instead of the big business R.E.MONSTER. I bet he wished they had a bigger tour bus though.

Everybody here probably knows about these but I have been playing these two albums to death in recent days. The Decemberists - The Crane Wife Robyn Hitchcock and The Venus 3 - Ole! Tarantula. God damn, these are some brilliant albums. You cool kids here probably know that but I just had to testify.
