I never knew that song wasn't sung by De Barge. Who the F is READY FOR THE WORLD??? Where's that "something I learned today that I didn't know yesterday" thread?
-
I've never seen them before so I'm excited. Plus, you never know who will show up in NYC.

FRIDAY AUGUST 4TH $10 12AM LUCERO 11PM RED RED BLACK 10PM NINTH HOUSE 9PM LOST ON LIFTOFF

I'm on my way out the door for the day and you know what will be blasting out of my car stereo in a few minutes. No. Besides, NY hardcore kids wouldn't be caught dead breakdancing unless there was no cardboard and broken glass on the ground.
-
I've got brass in my pocket.
-
BTW, I just got a free ticket (front row mezz) to see The Pretenders tonight right down the street from my house.
-
ction, you're totally ignoring Someone Else's Song and it's getting offended.
-
It's funny that the bathroom is the most famous part of that club. I bet people are ripping things off left and right now that they know the place is closing. I'll actually be there this Sunday to see more bands you've never heard of. I'm not nearly as excited as I am for the GB show though. Best part: it's going to be like a 6 hour show and it's only $9.99. Hurrah for Hardcore!
-
80's NYC hardcore band who broke up in their prime. So not only to see them, but to see them at the club they used to haunt, on their home turf, at one of CBGB's final shows....well, I don't think it can get much better than that. NY hardcore kids are known for being incredibly violent, and even though most of the people coming to see them are no longer "kids" and most likely no longer "hardcore", you'd be surprised how quickly they revert back to their stomping days in a situation like this. It's going to be bedlam.
-
You know it. More like the Cabbage Patch, really. Where's ction? He'll be the only one excited at the idea of seeing GB at CB's. I can't even fathom how many bruises I will be leaving with.
-
I just scored tickets to see the Gorilla Biscuits at CBGB! Now I've got to get rid of the ones I have for B.B. King's......
-
I know the moment has passed, but here ya go.
-
I'd like to see them in a shootout with someone in a moving car.
-
I wish I had my pics here from my last trip to Disney. A lot of the workers use Segways and I took a picture of an actual training lesson where they were lined up and weaving around little orange cones.
-
I disagree, I don't think Teeg namedrops, she just tells stories about things in her life that happen to include familiar names. By the way, when I was hangin' with Sebastian Bach.....

Sali Mali - Cerys Matthews It's the theme to a children's show. It's one of the cutest songs ever.
-
I gave you guys the Sali Mali theme song she did, right?
-
I have to admit that I love the wailing just as much as the quietness. I do miss it a little bit. But I have the Catatonia albums for that. Why don't you guys use the email button in lieu of PMs?

She sounds like an adorable child when she sings in the higher keys. She's so lovely.

Woohoo! Amazing Stories Season One is out on DVD.
