No, it just doesn't work for you. It's natural. Don't waste any more of your time.

That's Tyvek, not Ty Segall.

Wilco could stand to be more like Robert Quine.

I've listened to Lemons twice today. Good stuff on here. Kind of a mixed bag sonically, which I tend to like. Probably not as good as Melted, but definitely feels like an album that'll keep getting better with repeated plays.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise) from the album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. we must think alike.

There are actually three. I just got the second one (Lemons) yesterday in the mail, and I'm listening to it now for the first time. I got his first one (self-titled) last month at his show. I'm not certain, but I think he plays all the instruments on the first two, and on Monsters he has a band.

Damn, I watched but I missed that line.

There's no time for breaks when you're busy sewing revolutionary war constumes, making signs, and driving your RV to Tea Party rallies.

OK, good. In that case I can take it off my Netflix queue. Thanks for clearing that up. Knotgreen, it's enjoyable and is worth seeing. You might be able to see it on Youtube. I'm not sure if it's worth buying another copy of SBS for.

Is Shake It Off the short film that comes with SBS? Netflix has Shake It Off, but something about their description made me think it was not the same thing as the SBS bonus video.

You expect us to believe that you're not going to want a social security check after paying social security taxes your entire working life? Or is this one of those hope I die before I get old boasts?
-
I'm waiting for the man. The mailman, that is. To deliver my social security check. Fuck socialism.

I don't know. That tune is the only that I've detected Eno's singing voice on. Maybe I should listen more closely.

No, I'm not implying that. I'm saying that if all someone at a politcal rally can say is a load of empty talking points, they are not thinking critically. That goes for all sides of a political debate.

I want to say Duane Allman with Derek and the Dominos, but since they only put out one studio album, one could argue that he was more than just a guest.

From Uncut magazine, December 2005, page 100, review of Kicking Television (I just happen to have it sitting here, and read this quote the other day): Why did you focus so heavily on the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and A Ghost is Born albums? Tweedy: One of the things that people have said about our last few records is that they're experimental and weird, and we don't feel that way at all. And maybe playing the songs live illustrates that a little bit better - that they're, y'know, rock songs. But theres a ton of dissonance. Tweedy: I don't think that there's anything experimental about

I was thinking about that one from the start, but when taking Harrison's beautiful solo on Something into consideration, I think While My Guitar... would have been just as good if they kept the solo duties in-house.
