  1. when Paul (bbop) and I saw them back in Septmeber 2006, Mike had said he was trying to shop the album around, but I guess nothing's come of it yet. I really wish they'd release something though.
  2. only thing I know, is to listen to what they have streaming on myspace. you could probably use some kind of program to capture the streams, but since they have the downloading option turned off, they probably don't want people doing that.
  3. he did a couple shows at the Hideout, back in 2005. his band, Pronto was doing shows frequently in NYC and Brooklyn, late 2006 early 2007. here're a couple pics:
  4. yes, he plays guitar and sings for his own band, Pronto. he also played guitar once during a wilco show, I believe it was Summfest 2003.
  5. the shows posted at the wilco archive, are the easiest things to obtain. all you need to do, is right click-->save file. simple as that.
  6. I saw a wilco video on youtube, it's from their appearance on SNL.
  7. Probably Jeff, and not that this impacts the guitar playing, by November of 2002, Mike was already with the band.
  8. I'm not a fan, but I think it's awesome that they're selling the album in .flac format. good for them, I hope more artists/labels follow suit.
  9. here's some vague info about it: http://www.popmatters.com/pm/blogs/crazedbythemusic/
  10. Leonard Cohen looks like he could be Anthony Bourdain's older brother.
  11. download VLC player it plays .flac files, you can even make playlists.
  12. also, you looked at her name before you replied to her, and yet you still spelled it incorrectly.
  13. I'm no fan of THDW, but I have to back him up on this one. "Jump the Shark", can be used in reference to anything/anyone that was once cool, no longer being so. I've heard this explained numerous times by the man who created the term, Jon Hein. He's a member of a popular radio program that I listen to on a daily basis, and I take his word for it.
  14. Richard "Groove" Holmes, is a great organist, and some of his early recordings, feature a young Pat Martino on guitar.
  15. lot's of people have seen Jim play with Wilco.
  16. I love Art Blakey Live at the Jazz Corner of the World Vol. 1., especially when the lady is introducing the band. she's hilarious.
  17. How to Fight Lonlieness->Not For The Season I really wish they'd brought it back during the residency.
  18. but he could copy the files to another folder, and change those, leaving the originals as is.
