  1. Underwhelming, this one is. So far, anyway.
  2. My parents just bought a new PC with Vista on it. It is like a big, clunk (and crappy looking) version of OS X mated with XP and made things just enough different to be confusing. And then came the warnings before I did anything, while I did anything, and after I did anything. I finally understand that Mac ad!
  3. So am I correct in thinking that if I buy this now, I'll get it again (and pay for it again) when I buy the Archives box?
  4. I didn't even have time to enter any pools this year. How depressing.
  5. I'm not ready to say better, but it is pretty near to equal at this point.
  6. Damn you! Could not care less.
  7. Same. I could care less that they have a new record coming out.
  8. Good lord, that Saddle Creek board is BAD. Hilarious, though. Also, I can't help you but cool that M. Ward was there. I'd rather see him than Bright Eyes, personally. Bright Eyes has been underwhelming on all but one occasion.
  9. I'm beginning to wonder why the actual album hasn't leaked yet. Isn't it due here in less than a month?
  10. This is a trend that I'm noticing more and more in music journalism these days. The author either explains every album that a band has released and then gives a paragraph about the current album, or the author tells some stupid story surrounding the current album and/or band member's personal situation before giving a paragraph about the current album. For example: Fall Out Boy : [insert Title of FOB Album Here] The guy that always gets his picture taken is so neat. He has had sex with many celebrities. He has a tattoo to celebrate each individual celebrity sex encounter. One is of a haw
  11. Looks great, dudes. Glad ye all had a good time (kind of impossible not to), and I'm quite jealous of that PKB number. Next time I see Tweedy, he's going to get a soccer ball to the groin.
  12. Nick Cave is somebody that I go through intense phases with. Listen for weeks and weeks and weeks and then take a year off. But as far as Grinderman, it hasn't hit me yet. When it leaked, I had just finished up my latest Cave binge and I wanted nothing to do with him. Hopefully it hits me here when I get into him again.
  13. Meh. Letting off the Happiness is still the best thing he has done. As for the EP, I thought it was alright at first but I pretty much hate it at this point. The song Four Winds sounds like he aped his own song, Loose Leaves, and aside from Tourist Trap, the rest of it is pretty lame. I also don't like the vocal delivery he's been using on the last few albums. Blah.
  14. I don't think the lyrics are what make this band delicious. In fact, I think their lyrics are typically bordering on "not good," but the way they put it all together sho' is special.
  15. Ellen sucked altogether. She was rotten through and through. Ahahahaha. She's vacuuming! Ahahahaha!
  16. 1 - I think you still rock. 2 - Other people probably still like you. 3 - You are the champion of my heart.
  17. I assume by step in front of a bus you meant step in front of my love making chamber so that I may grant her access. Otherwise your post makes no sense.
  18. Wait.....so you like John Mayer? And girls? Next thing I know, you'll be posting a Jennifer Love Hewitt album in the NP.
  19. This is very true. I eat sweet potato fries more than I would like to admit.
  20. Green tea is supposedly the best for you. Peppermint teas aid in digestion and make you feel clean inside, chamomile makes you go to bed, etc. If you can find some milk thistle tea, you can get your liver all cleaned up. I don't know a ton about the rooibos teas except that they are caffeine free and still loaded with antioxidants, which is a good thing.
  21. No diggity. Delicious song, that one. They are all great with Boys & Girls being the worst of the three, IMO.
