  1. I will be in Chattanooga next weekend and was wondering whats to do there? I know the aquarium is supposed to be great. Any other things I should check out?
  2. With all these dreay stories about job losses, mortgage issues, war etc does anyone have any happy stories to share for 2009 of things that have happened or things you are looking forward to? For me 2008 was a great year..got married, bought a house and finally made it to Australia! 2009 not so good...water issues in the basement (very expensive to fix...) also company is peeling back benefits and laying off people (like everywhere else). For 2009 though I am looking forward to going to Belize in April! Might be a trip to the Atlantic Providences in the Summer also am currently planning

  7. I can vouch for Old Montreal. It is really nice...if you like that stuff I would highly recommend going further upstream to Quebec City. That is such a beautiful city and has a great older part of the city too!

  10. Going on a similar argument I would say REM. Sure maybe not so influential in the last decade but they helped spearhead College Radio and Indie music and made the path for bands like Pixies, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Nirvana etc...

Kyoto Japan- Awesome history. there are handfuls of buildings from the 800's..it is supposedly the only Japanese city that really survived all the wars, natural disasters etc...I loved every part of Kyoto! Jerusalem, Israel- Same as Kyoto except older....the 4 quaters was awesome and I am not to religous but seeing all the holy places for the Jews, christians and Muslims was moving.... Tasmania, Australia- Pretty cool. Air so fresh, views so amazing friendly people! Everyone should go!
