I love going on a long ride and exploring new places. What are some of your favorite drives you have been on? Some of my all time favorites.. 1. San Francisco-Portland, Oregon- Driving along the coast is amazing and the scenery was really interesting! 2. Denver-Santa Fe- Although I was not driving I will get an opportunity to do it again this year! Colorado is one of my favrote states and the Mountains are breathtaking! New Mexico also provides unique beauty and some of the best food I have ever ate on a road trip 3. The State of Alaska- I drove 1400 miles in 5 days in Alaska. Every si

Wilco. Had Jay Bennett not left the band

I see what you are saying that he left in 2001. But people will always talk about band members who departed (or aren't alive anymore). Ie Guns and Roses without Slash, Who without Moon, Led Zeppelin without Bonham... -
I could listen to Song for the Dumped over and over again! But if you want more most songs from Afghan Whigs work well... Honkeys Ladder is a good one!

Call me both! The First show I saw on 2/15/97 Irving Plaza is in my top 5 live shows of all time. I have now seen over 700 shows so there is alot to be said for that. Please do yourself a favor and get this show on CD or DVD (Was filmed for HBO reverb) and tell me this is not a kick ass live show. Don't get me wrong Wilco is brilliant and still incredible live ( I think I have seen them in (97,2000,2001,2002,2003,2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 so I have seen almost every incarnation of Wilco as a band but I liked Jay, Bob, Ken in the lineup. I am a sucker for fiddles, lapsteels, banjo etc.... -

I always feel that the people who don't like Jay Bennett in one form or another never saw him play live with Wilco. I did see Jay play with Wilco before and those shows were my favorite ones. Is there anyone who saw Wilco with Jay who were glad he left? -
Hmm 10% of tickets will be held by Blockbuster for the first 4 hours of an onsale! That doesn't sound like a good idea! http://www.pollstar.com/blogs/news/archive.../19/632486.aspx
