  2. Inspired by bobfrombob only having to go 5 blocks to see Wilco...what is the shortest distance you traveled to see the band and what's the longest? I travelled about 15 miles to see Wilco play two shows in Montclair, NJ I travelled 200 or so for Solid Sound.
  3. It was one of the last shows he ever played it was tough to watch at the time. It's amazing how different his live show was from 2000-2003 he was nice and friendly even though he seemed to be somewhere else

  7. Oh I forgot some other random Letterman meetings outside 1 Day I met Eddie Vedder and Pete Townsend. Dustin Hoffman signed a dollar bill for me...wasn;t there to met him but the timing worked out Another I met Norm MacDonald, Bob Saget and one of the Indigo Girls all on the same day Met George Carlin...and he said hey kid.
  8. and no Going to Town???...that drum beat gets me every time... Probably still one of my favorite live moments was on the 1965 tour. They opened with Superstition and went right into Going to Town. It tore the roof off the place. Seek out the video when they did this combo at a festival in Germany..it is soooo funky and awesome!   9. Although I haven't watched the late show in I'd say 10+ years the Late Show has a very special place in my life. Back when I was in High School I used to watch all the time. Any time there was a good guest my friends and I would hang out and try and meet them or attend a taping. I must have attended the show 25 times or so...Some of my highlights were seeing: Wilco, Bruce Springsteen, Radiohead, Phish, BIll Murray, Christopher Walker, Beck, Elvis Costello etc..I just figured since it is appropriate I will share my Wilco story since it was so much fun.
