It might be worth noting that there are partial performances of several other tunes as well, including a backstage version of "Satan, Your Kingdom Must Come Down" and a montage of city footage set to "Radio King."

Hasn't he also equated that activity with bestiality?

One of the best music documentaries in recent memory.

I also have a framed copy of this: But my wife forces me to hang it in the basement.

I'm bragging, not sharing!

I expected sharper satire and less general silliness, but I still laughed a lot.

Who would you like to see open for Wilco?

Yes. -
Does this mean his performance in Harold & Kumar was Oscar-worthy?

Most of my extended family thinks she's completely on target. What they don't understand is why any thinking person wouldn't like her. Sometimes, for sport, I hang Angela Davis posters before inviting them over.

I have some mp3s of Mende covering some Tweedy: Acuff Rose, Black Eye, Gun, Forget the Flowers.

I liked Mother just fine, but his last two don't offer much hope.

I'm not too far from Madison, but I don't know if I can swing that date...

For those in the Milwaukee area: The Rosebud Cinema Drafthouse is going to screen the MMJ movie next week. It's a cool place to see a movie, what with the sofas and beer.

I've never been interested in KoL, but I've been interested in FoW for 10 years now.

The Milwaukee International Film Festival ran October 19-29. Over those 11 days I managed to see 25 features and 6 short films; in previous years I have emphasized documentaries, shorts, and regional films, but this year I made a point to shift focus onto world fiction features. In preferential order: Cream of the crop Requiem / Hans-Christian Schmid / Germany / 2006 The Queen / Stephen Frears / UK / 2006 Mary / Abel Ferrera / USA / 2005 Very Good Five Minutes, Mr. Welles / Vincent D

I think I might have that on bootleg DVD (from a VHS source, though).

Can anybody help me out with an mp3 of "Lullaby for Rafters and Beams"?

Nearly every candidate I've ever supported has lost. Apparently, I am campaign poison. -
So far I'd say Studio 60 is a pretty solid show, but I'll be surprised if it's given enough time to finally find its groove. I think Tina Fey is funny, and I think Alec Baldwin is funny, but I think 30 Rock is terribly unfunny. I'm done with it.
