  1. Here it is: http://archive.viachicago.org/index.php?showtopic=4490 There was an new thread opened up to discuss whether it was really Jeff (yep) who posted. (ATTN: Wandering web reporters. The acccusations in the above thread are mostly false/a joke (Maytag jingle, etc.)/debunked. Please don't mention the accusations in some article about the lawsuit. Thank you for your attention). You just do not find quality trolling like that any more.
  2. All good bets. Except for the personal clarification part. Jay has never, to my knowledge, defended himself on here despite all the things said about him over the years. Jeff once responded to a (pretty well done, but very false) accusation of plagiarism. Their lawyers will tell them to can it in this case. Edit: I could see a Jay myspace post, though. Hmm.
  3. No way. Everyone on here is an expert in entertainment law. A bit more info here: http://www.suntimes.com/entertainment/musi...-050409.article
  4. ...and that is her in the pic. Although apparently it's from 2003. She's not sporting the guns in most pics.
  5. They took my Visa. Yeah, Visa is in the dropdown. I think they also take Paypal--but maybe I am imagining this.
  6. A picture of my arse. Wilco the album.

  8. I'm really not sure it was a joke. The delivery would be really weird.
  9. Matt Vasgersian, in addition to switching the team he broadcasts for every year, seems like quite the glad-handing twit. Edit: Apparently he has only called games for two teams, but it seems like more than that to me.
  10. Buicks are big in China and the company feels that if they eliminated that line stateside it would lose prestige in China. That's what I heard on the radio, anyway.
  11. What in the world is the popular corporate media view on Specter joining the dems?
  12. Dan Quayle works (or did work) for the equity fund that owns Chrysler. Heh.
  13. I mean, he could've pulled a Lieberman and ran (and probably won) as an independent. It is also possible that he feels more at home with the Democrats at this point--though I don't think his votes will change that much.
  14. No. James Jeffords was the last to do it (more or less). Zell Miller sort of did it. This seems like an election ploy for Specter--he wants to be a major party's nominee going in to the election possibly? He's like 30 or 40 points behind his main competitor in the Repub primary polls.
  15. I didn't think you'd be nearly as upset about The Edge tearing down a mountain as I was. Now you're selling your tickets!!!
  16. It was actually 32 years late (2005)--well, actually, it's a revisiting/followup story. I hadn't read it before.
