experimenting with a 24/48 vinyl rip. Can't saw I notice much difference between this an the standard 16/44 wav files but will have to listen more.

Trying again with this band. But no, this is unremarkable crap with nasally vocals. Is nice to hear Buck on Begin the Begin guitar but that's about it.

I am an idiot. This came up on Shuffle and the shuffle came off.

just checked now - I'm right on the western aisle. Stage Rush!

Hmm, I'm thinking those are almost in the centre, but can't really remember how many seats make up the width. 50-60 maybe. What I gotta also remember is taking the King Streetcar to Dufferin and walk rather than the stupid Bathurst Streetcar and walk.

Just means that I'm such a big fan, that if they record detroit's best farts and play them in a loop for 12 minutes, I will purchase it and still remain a fan. Term is from a Tennis competition, among other things, where a high ranking competitor skips the first round. Spelling might be 'Buy' or 'Bi' - I dunno,

orchestra 6th row but off to the side for the QET. Yay!

daughter is going to the Toronto Show tonight. I have failed as a parent.

wouldn't that be great? Trying for London at the Aeolian Hall, but it might be too late. Hope that High Road has some openings
-
hope this is good. If not, this band gets a by into the next round.

Looking forward to this a lot. Have not seen a Tweedy solo show before. Closest i came was Bennett/Tweedy at the Horseshoe like, 12 years ago. The QET will be a good place to see him. Was last there for James, and it was a hoot: Tell me, at these solo shows, does Tweedy get all crazy and do any wavy-arm crowd dancing like Tim Booth? That would be something to see

NEED THE PRESALE dates for Toronto. Need them now!

she was fantastic last Friday.

Bought a DAC for the older lower end audiophile system. Playing apple losseless files from the PC to the airport express and OMFG, the improvement in sound is incredible. ie albums I know note by note are revealing new things. Like the organ in Boys You Won't. It's friggin jarring.

wow - Wish the strongest voice I've heard on a white female didn't overload my camera and I could have done with a lot more light:

at the concert I saw she ended up lifting and holding on her shoulders this 6 foot dude. I don't understand where she gets the energy.

Wish I knew. Really really love that album. If you look at their blog they give away a ton of things away and did a 52 songs in 52 weeks thing that was of remarkable quality. What I think I like most is that they sing about their friends with songs about Two Cow Garage and Roger Bryan and the Wolves. no qualms about overpaying for their album and supporting this band. some of the 52 (but really 35) songs are still up here: http://www.adioslounge.com/2010/04/your-new-favorite-band-ghost-shirt.html and Lance writes eloquently about the band,
