it was just great seeing these two live again. words. cannot. describe.

playing and replaying all the RPC stuff interspersed with youtubes of last week's shows. Glorious. they had this secret member I've never seen before hiding behind a curtain, playing guitar.
-
yeah - I really like them too. Just some emails that have come my way. July 16th/17th at the 'Nick in Birmingham' is supposedly the farewell show. I'm gonna finally put my order in to Skybucket records to buy some more of their and Vulture Whale/13ghosts things. on to: gawd I love Sweet.

I love taking pictures or movies of gigs. I go back to the movies all the time to remember what the show was like About Today (the 2nd encore from the first Massey Hall show) trying to hold my arms still and not breath to prevent jittering

Toronto was excellent. Geese of Beverly Road was probably the personal highlight. Ok- question - who was the guy right infront of Berringer the whole concert? I recognized him from somewhere and he's either a semi recognizable actor or a board member who has posted pictures lots. Berringer shook his hand towards the end of the show, which makes me think he's following the tour.

but the Vincent Moon DVD thing can certainly be skipped. Psyched for tomorrow @ Massey Hall
-
Sarah Blackwood - Wasting Time. bought a couple crappy tickets for Massey Hall tomorrow just based on the reviews from recent shows. Hope they do 'Karen'.

Sharon Jones Kicked my ass on Tuesday night. We were really close and I swear she was looking at me thinking 'why is that honky bitch smiling so much' I did get a little worried about one of the backup singers. She had this wonderful voice and what looked like a Diabetes related bruise that took up most of her left calf. Why -o-why do I feel the need to notice such things?
-
The Rizdales are bringing Rosie into town on May 25th. Damn, that's the same night as Sharon Jones. Why does this avalanche of riches always happen on the same night? fuck.
-
repeat the definite yes on Deer Tick. Great band. Caroline Chocolate Drops also nail the Banjo although more traditionally perhaps.

TO May 25th at the Sound Academy Pumped! Had my eye on the concert for a couple months, but could not find a good reason to travel down. Bought 2 tickets this morning - Yay!
