Watched in last night and intentionally ff'd through this scene. So, thanks for the warning. Think I might have trouble watching the rest of this series.... Also noticed that Caroline Dhanivas has a role as the Leckie character's love interest. Excellent casting. good for her.

whoop, didn't know they had a new one. only got Mission Control and Give 'em All a Big Fat Lip.

Yes. I celebrate their entire catalog entirely taken with this.

Been talking to him in email now. very funny guy. Also Looks like Nice, Nice, Very Nice is now on Arts and Crafts with a US release coming fairly soon. Can't stress how good that record is.

Saw Dan last night and he was very very nice in all the right ways. We talked quickly about our mutual love for the Broken Family Band, Grandpa's hand-me-down Buicks and Pink Nasty, plus he's at SXSW next week, so all you lucky people who get to go, put him on your list. love this song and really happy how the capture turned out: (I thought It was about his Grandpa and he confirmed it)

loved them in concert and agree with Kyle, this second record is better than the first. (although I'm sorta concerned about Kyle's caring what Pitchfork thinks or when they will give their number to the record. I know it matters for all kinds of sales and attendance things, but shit, if a band is good, we don't need a rating by mole-person with a thesaurus to tell us) -
There were 4 of them this afternoon. Very nice people and they are now semi-lined up for a local instore on the inevitable rest of Ontario Tour. Bought the cd too, so I dunno about any delays.

see them (besnard lakes) in approx 1 hour. Hope they are good in concert.

"Hello all ... we're planning on bringing Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Wanda Jackson back to London this summer ... her new Jack White (of White Stripes fame) produced record is generating lots of buzz and it looks like she will have a busy year promoting it ... gotta get her here while we have the chance ... we can make it happen if you want it ... let me know if you do ... thanks!"

Brian Mortimer (the head CMF guy) is my neighbour. I'll try to drag him out. He's a bit busy though so no promises.

Shhhh!!! Guys, Careful what you say about Corgan... Last time man turned his back on God, he went out and flooded the Earth. -

I can't pick a favourite. This is amazing.

alright - got tickets to Mangan next week. He also just got a prime gig on the Today show last Friday with the big man Poet Shane Koyczan. Very cool for an indie guy

That Zeus cover looks like the work of Sheri Boyle. I know she, Doug Paisley, Collett and Zeus all hang out at the Dakota, and it would be cool if it is. for the Colett - I'll have to listen then. Kalle - Got a contact for you at Grooves for an instore. http://www.groovesrecordstore.com/ grooves 'at' loveable.com. Alison and Melissa do most of the instore day to day stuff, I just suggest stuff, make the initial contact and then enjoy the concerts. Best to use my husband's name (Tim), he's the one that actually spends money there. I just create 'want lists'. Melissa is also a local b
