Loved the doc and saw it for the first time at his no-so-recent show. The part where he plays the tapes of his father and can hear the younger version of himself drumming in the background was just great.

Jimmy - yeah - it's pretty friggin great. The live versions show off a really tight band. I'll Ysi it, since it is really a collection of stuff that's appeared on Blogs and as web give-aways, except mastered and mixed better. Having a non-MP3 version of Soon Enough is totally worth it. lovin the above

Ahem, *lost Canadian* album of 2008. Pretty interesting regardless. Jenny Mitchell and Andy Magoffin just had a baby boy, Otis, last month and like all musicians, made a CD about it. The thing was a duets collaboration with, amoung others Jim Guthrie (Royal City), Tony Dekker (Great Lake Swimmers), Andy Swan (Andy Swan) and Win Butler (no need for the band reference), but unfortunately, a couple days before the baby and the cd were set to drop, Arcade Fire's Management prevented the release on Weewerk records.
