Yeah...I've listened to this a few times since yesterday. It's pretty darn good. I keep replaying the first 6 songs over and over. The album takes a (very) small dip after those tunes, but it is still very, very good.

1) Heartbreaker
2) Strangers Almanac
3) Faithless Street
4) Gold
5) Pneumonia
6) Jacksonville City Nights
Cold Roses and Easy Tiger are also pretty good. Plus there are a lot of good bootlegs, demos, and unreleased material that make for a better listen than his other released stuff (in my opinion).

Bill Walton gave this album a shout out today during the USA-Canada game in the Tournament of the Americas. I think he called it Dream Chrome II, though. He was talking about great Canadians and brought up Neil.

I looked at my watch.
I looked at my wrist.
I punched myself in the face with my fist.

Yeah, I am a subscriber to Esquire (free subscriber, but a subscriber nonetheless). It is a really good magazine that has had some excellent covers. That Rosario cover happens to be one of my favorites.
July's Angelina cover wasn't too shabby either:
Also, I remember getting a kick out of this Clinton cover which came out near the end of his second term. Given the context of the events at the time, it was more than a little suggestive. And pretty awesome...

I'd think he'd get a bigger kick out of there being a sizeable NY Times article about it, no?

Yeah... I saw that quote when I was reading the paper earlier tonight. I wasn't expecting to see Tweedy referenced there. Kinda cool, though.

This is probably not worth a thread of its own, but...oh well...
...sounds like it was fun. I was just perusing today's NY Times and found this little article interesting.

Is that really the cover? If so ... I think its pretty cool.
My guess is many others in the populace will disagree, though.
