  1. lots going on in Bruin land http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=502873 dont know much about him, bit seems he's good on the PK, and we suck pretty bad so far in that dept. I'd like to see how Marchand does. Seems Thornton is hurt, Looch out, we need some bodies.
  2. I was all geared up to take my 5 year old, BUT read some reviews and the scare factor is to high. Kids under 7 were advised not to see it. I guess i'll go myself
  3. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_daddy/post/Video-9-year-old-scores-greatest-goal-in-Boston?urn=nhl,195876 yes, Bruins off to a slow start, rather start slow and end fast. we'll fix the D in time to make the finals.
  4. Kessel deal is done. He signs for 27 mill/5 yrs. A bit much to me, for a guy with a shoulder injury. still not sure what the leafs are giving us, 2 #1 picks
  5. go Reds ? if the Reds merged with the Pirates would they be 500 ? probably not. who else roots for teams that are the absolute worst every year, and do you care past the middle of June when our teams are usually 15 games out.
  6. the Kane story is very weird, seems the cabbie wasn't telling all ? September 2 weeks away and not sure what will happeb to Kessel. Habs ? they will either be really good or 500, a very strange mix Gainey has thrown together.
  7. http://www.carbonsiliconinc.com/story.aspx?nid=235 new Mick, pretty rockin'
  8. i'm always excited for new Joe ! it has some real bright spots, and a few, well slower spots. still my fav singer, next to Tweeds. what's this about his kid, E, tell me more
  9. just read about Morris, great pick up for 1 yr. Losing ward won't be so bad, Morris is only 30 and very durable. Ward broke down last year, and is slow. He will be missed for his toughness, and locker room leadership. not sure where this leaves Kessil. Looks like the B's are playing hardball, and will wait it out. The team has 1.3 mil left and that aint much. Without trading someome Kess is on the outside right now.
  10. oh, hey, that Martin what his name is a peach, and the kid can sing his ass off. see him now before he gets a haircut
  11. great to see you to Paul, and Mart, and for those who might remember FrOnk ! he is alive and well. a fine rockin' show with great sound for an outdoor concert. Loved watching Jeffplay so many diff guitars. I didn't mind the setlist, got to hear and enjoy the new songs. nobody mentioned Jeffs hair. It's a bit longer these days, and after a towel dry it was quite afro'ish ?big ? I liked the sing a long, and the cyclone mascott on stage. the drive in went well, 1 hour from Flemmington, the pizza even better at Grimaldi's ! thanks Mart for hooking me with that treasure.
  12. glad we signed Recchi, even though he's 48
  13. not sure what the Canadians will be like. Hal Gill, Gomez and Co. see,s like a soft bunch to me. Bruins need a D man ! got any ? Hossa ? well probably has 3 good years in him, 12 ? hope I get to see him play in 2020
  14. http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/06/15/video-bruce-springsteen-jams-with-phish-at-bonnaroo/
  15. how about that Walken, Hal Gill gets his name on that cup, first Ray, now Hal, wow. great game right to the end. Glad for the Pens, solid team for sure. next year ? who knows. I bet see alot of players moving around with the cap stuff.
  16. I'm sure Rod was pretty embarrassed having to be on Idol, and will be fine for a Faces tour
  17. wow, harder than I thought. 18 veiws and nobody knows the way to play it ? i'm disapointed in you VC
  18. every chord site has this being played G#m to F#m, but it just doesn't sound right. I know I should be able to figure it out, but... any help would make me glad
  19. I'm with Cal, I really like this record. What should an Eels album sound like, the Eels right ?
