  1. As Wimbledon has started.... and maybe a bit thin, but hey, it was the only thing to watch last sat lunchtime...
  2. I wonder which one it was instead of Brothers then... must dig out Plans again! Doh! I just heard the announcement as the doors closed as you left about the circle line being shut - bugger. Was a couple of minutes before my train which was good and managed to find a seat!
  3. The great ship "Death Cab" rolled back onto the gracious British shores on a barmy evening in London town and myself and the other Rich (Muller) embarked on a voyage south of the river to the wonderous venue that is Brixton Academy. A cheeky pint in some rather nice pub in Oxford Circus and we'd discussed the relative merrits of the new Golden Smog and Thom Yorke records, we set off on the Victoria line to our final destination. The first thing that struck us was how young all the other gig-goers were - we felt very old and almost dirty old men... But don't tell anyone! Viva Voce kicked th

  10. This is the problem I have on Sat; I don't like the portugease team, full of players who like to fall over a little too much for my liking.... 11. No can do dude: http://forums.viachicago.org/index.php?act...unce&f=24&id=12
  12. I love American Splendour - great movie and comic book. Batman Begins is also really good, recently bought that myself. As for the Back To The Future trilogy, great, great movies! Cambridge Film Festival is on next month and I get to book tickets today being a member. My choice picks are: The Science Of Sleep the new Michael Gondry movie. Tideland the new Terry Gilliam movie, he's going to be talking about it at the late showing, so I'm hoping to get tickets for that - it would rule! Little Fish australian movie with Cate Blanchett, don't know much about it but my girlfriend fancied it. Sh
  13. I don't even think Beckham's dead ball delivery has been that good in this world cup either - his corners have been poor and the goal yesterday is the best thing he's done other than the cross for Crouch's goal against T&T. We'll see... after the madness that was the Holland v Portugal last night, England will face a weakened Portguease side... They're going to have to play a lot better to beat the south american sides left in the competition, their inability to make anything from open play would concern me too...
  14. I really like it - sure it's dark and depressing, but considering his state of mind whilst making it, there should be no surprises. There's something incredibly moving about it, the way his voice sings those songs.
