There's a proper rip on Oink now - the riffs are certainly more straight metal in places now and I'm convinced there's a hint of new order as well tucked away in the bass lines!

Ahhhh! That new Muse record is well worth a listen though if you haven't done so... great, great stuff.

I was saying that the Thom Yorke one could be my fav of the year so far - should have put it after the picture... It's really grown on me a lot... Now Playing: My iTunes library on random, Ben Folds > Aphex Twin was an interesting switch

I really like it... there's something about it that just haunts me. Can I suggest that this might, surprisingly, be my favourite record of the year so far???? It's certainly a duel between this and Muse...

What do you think? I'll definitely be checking out Slowlands when I get home tonight, sounds interesting... For me this morning:

Likewise... I didn't even send any text messages Sat evening. Was just a poor game and England really should have beaten a lacklustre Portugease side, but as it went to penalties there was always going to be one winner I think. Nice holiday for Theo Walcott though! Germany v France final... France to win now... think their arrogance and swagger is starting to come back and Zidane played exceedingly well against Brazil.

Started this on the weekend - like it so far...

Andrew... I really like the single and actually looking forward to the album which I wasn't originally. Was looking to see him in London but clashes with another gig I'm going to unfortunately. Really liked this bit: And it certainly applies to me - you can never escape the pull of it, there's always a part of you that gets drawn back and the longer I spend away from Wales (which seems to be more and more now) the more the draw back is... -
This is fast becoming one of my favourites of the year so far...

It is a very good album that... Andy Gill in the Independent gave it 3/5 but seemed to say it was really good... I really have no time for him, he's rubbish! I got my promo through of that this week - individually numbered in it's own packaging
