I guess they're down again, and I really need the chord file (with the chords above the lyrics) I'm really wanting to play this at our coffee shop's next open mic, but I can't find this chord file anywhere. Maybe those of you with the Being There tab book could help me out??? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I can't remember the bridge (I'll get that for you later) but here's the verse:

I think he plays this walk up:

 

E--0--2--4

 

And then an A chord, and a B7:

 

e--2

B--4

G--2

D--4

A--2

E--x

 

And then an E, and then the walk up again.

You can arpeggiated those two chords for a cool effect as well.

I always play it like this:

 

0-1-2-0 walk on the A string, followed by an A major chord.

 

So the progression I use for the intro is:

 

A major -> B 7th -> E major -> C# minor -> C major -> E major

 

The B major 7th can be played a variety of ways, but the easiest fingering for this progression is x21202

 

C#minor is x02120
