ShakeItLikeAToothache
The version of I am Trying to Break your Heart in the beginning of the film ("IATTBYH") is wonderful. I have been sitting here for about an hour and a half trying to figure it out and I give up.If someone could tab this for me, even if it's just a rough tab, I would be eternally grateful. I am dying to play this.Thank you so much in advance.
kaysettes
There's a tab of it somewhere around here... But, until someone finds that: Capo on 2 It's A Em D for the whole song, here's the tab: e---0----0-----0----0---0---2--2---b---0h2-0h2--2----0----0--3--3---g---2----2-----2----0---0--2--2----d---2----2-----2----2---2--0--0----a---0----0-----0----2---2--------e--------------------0---0------- Alright, that's mega rough. I'll find that thread. Just throw a capo on 2 and play two bars of A, then one of Em and D. You gotta mix up the rhythm a bit - hammer on second fret of the B-string when you're playing the A. Like this. E---------------------------00---22---B----0h2---0h2----00-----00---33---G ------2----- 2----22-----00---22---D-------2------2----22-----22---00---A----------------------------22---------E----------------------------00--------- Just play that throughout. Easy. I have the bridge solo, too, if you want that. I'll post it when it's not finals week. That's from knivesout. Cheers!

Gobias Industries
A capo is the way the Highest Being tells people that bar chords suck. It's either go with the capo for open chords or reduce yourself to clunking root-fifth-octaves. And only punkass emo kids use root-fifth-octaves. So... I would know. Bar chords did in my old band =\ Edited April 3, 2006 by poortranslator

kaysettes
Good, now I have a reason to use a capo on my electric, I've always felt like a wuss.
