Gobias Industries
capo10 is sometimes brutal on acoustics, especially depending on when they joint... crazy...though i would expect if jeff did this he would just tune down to DGCFAD like he used to do for Hummingbird... jhc
crazy...though i would expect if jeff did this he would just tune down to DGCFAD like he used to do for Hummingbird... same notes, but it would be a pretty different sound. I would think he'd capo 8 and play it in D
Kalle
Nope he played it capo 10 in Toronto and London.
OOO
in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhU7JnV5VjM&search=wilco He is playing it on the 8th fret in D (i.e. D, G, A) as jhc said. while he strums on the D, he takes off his fingers on the first and third string then puts them back on, much like in lost love. Thanks - that's what it sounded like to me but I didn't have a visual confirmation. Actually kind of a relief - capo 10 is rough.

froggie
personally, i play it without a capo, using G, C and D... and throwing in the odd E flat and F after the chorus...
Gobias Industries
It's going to be capo5 from now on, pretty much.
bkriner
Are the chords in Capo 5 the same as what is posted here for Capo 8? The Bb C part doesn't sound quite right to me on the "inside of you" part. I've been playing this, like a previous poster suggests, with no Capo and just playing G, C and D with an Eb/F slide for the "inside of you part." However, I know Jeff plays this with Capo 5. Can someone help me out? It's going to be capo5 from now on, pretty much.
Kalle
I believe the way he plays the Bb to the C part is like this. The Bb like this - x10033 The C like a Csus2 - x32033
