gogo
I'm keeping up my long-standing tradition of being out of town when all the good Litquake stuff is happening, so I won't be able to go to this.

jahilia
Edit: Dammit, I just realized it's the same day as the Strictly Bluegrass festival opening, featuring Elvis Costello. D'oh! The line-up for Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is awesome this year! I'm especially looking forward to Gillian Welch, Drive-By Truckers, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Billy Bragg, Richard Thompson and Emmylou. ction
Yeah, I loved King Dork. And this makes me feel old, but I've been listening to MTX for about 17 years...
mpolak21
Yeah, I loved King Dork. And this makes me feel old, but I've been listening to MTX for about 17 years... I was hooked before I even heard a note of their music, I just read that they had a song called "Even Hitler Had a Girlfriend" and that along with the band's name made me seek them out instantly. If there was any justice in this world, they'd be bigger then Green Day. --Mike
ms. yvon
Mark Eitzel!
gogo
From a Litquake e-mail received today: We should also mention that you can either relive readings you especially enjoyed
rsjbraz
By most accounts Eitzel was the highlight of that show playing "Last Harbour", are they planning to broadcast any of that show on KALW? http://www.geocities.com/rsjbraz/AmericanM...lubArchive.html
gogo
I don't know anything about what they'll be airing, except what I posted above: "some of the music selections performed at opening night's Between the Bridges".
