Analogman
you know, when i said that i was looking forward to the section on richard wright, i meant i was looking forward to reading his fiction, see b/c i thought we were reading about african american literature & i didn't realize that meant reading the politcal readings of the authors. my bad. Oddly enough, I recently found a bunch of books that I still have from an african literature class I took in the early 90s.

Sir Stewart
I took an African-American lit class in college. What I remember most from it is the star players from the UMass basketball team were enrolled in the class, and didn't show up once. I think the professor just liked calling their names every time. Marcus Camby was one of the guys.
Albert Tatlock
Coming up: 16th October - anniversary of this:- Somehow this made an impression on me at the time, though I had no idea why (I was 6). Apparently (and obviously) he lost out on alot of potential sponsership money etc. on his return. Respect.
wheelco
Last night I got a call from the husband of a couple I have known for 10 years. He was jacked up on pain meds from a back injury. He spoke to me in a way that he never has in our long and completely chaste relationship. And then said, "Don't tell..." Jesus, you think you know people.you seem to have a plethora of saucy/racy incidents with friends and neighbors more than the average bear, wouldn't you say?!
j4lackey
......Maybe the world doesn't need sidekicks anymore. Maybe we've moved past that.
