songs jeff should play

Recommended Posts

If anyone replies with Freebird, I think you should just go to your room, sit with the lights off, and think for a good loooong while.

Well said.

What about Sweet Home Alabama then?

i really want to hear him cover (with the band) elvis costello's "(what's so funny 'bout) peace, love and understanding." i think it's a very appropriate song (a la political science) and i'd be interested to hear how jeff would interpret costello's voice...because i feel like it's impossible to not attempt to try to sound like elvis costello does when you're singing that song. but, jeff is a professional and i am not so he probably doesn't have that urge. :unsure

I don't want to be a smart arse, but it's actually a Nick Lowe song. He recorded it in his band Brinsley Schwarz some time before Costello covered it (because Lowe was producing his album).

I vote for Debris by Ronnie Lane
