PigSooie
weird, i was just thinking about busting this out. ryan singing 'daniel' is awesome. I loved this show, but Ryan's singing was awful on this show. Elton nailed all of Ryan's songs though(namely, Answering Bell). With that said, I loved this show. I think I have the audio somewhere, but I'm not sure.
Analogman
That was the second time it was done - if I recall correctly. The did it once and it did not go well. Or something like that.

Interesting. I would love to hear the 2nd taping, if this is the case.
solace
i think they just canceled the first one outright...
Campaigner
3/19/02 was to be the first taping, but it was delayed until 04/02/02 due to Ryan being sick...
Analogman
i think they just canceled the first one outright... I think that's it - Ryan had the flu or something. doh!

With that said, I loved this show. I think I have the audio somewhere, but I'm not sure. I didn't care for elton singing "oh my sweet carolina." Just didn't fit, to me. There were some gems in that performance, though... I thought the interviews were interesting as well. I only have a crappy vhs copy, so if someone has a link to a torrent site, let me know. esel
i was at the taping of this show. they did several songs that didn't make the broadcast. the best song of the night was ryan singing elton's 'Mona Lisas And Mad Hatters'.
