Big Perm
Loved it. Not for everyone mind you, but wonderful to see an american director (maybe the only one, or that's what it feels like) stay outside the box. (Okay a couple others come to mind) Yes, it is long, but well worth it, IMO. For Lynch fans, a lot of throwbacks to older films, overall tons to say about this film, just unable to sum up all my feelings and thoughts just yet. okay.

Analogman
You could have it right now - if you dig around on the internets.
Big Perm
Apparently, there is no distribution, so he's taking it around all over. Was here in Austin this past week. It's now only showing at one theater in town, for a limited time.
Sir Stewart
I thought it was wonderful. Laura Dern deserved an Oscar nod, not that it matters.

aricandover
just got back from seeing it. I love when Lynch is able to make my brain stop working. excellent film, Grace Zabriskie hit it out of the park.

brianjeremy
If there is a lesbian scene like the one in Muholland Drive, I so want to see this movie then. Otherwise, I'll pass. The lesbians were all I was looking forward to in the last movie. I like lesbians.
Welsh Rich
Heard lots of good things about this, keeping my eye on the Arts cinema in town and hoping they'll get it... but if what you're saying about Lynch having no distributor is true, it might not even come over to the UK

I think its kind of bizarre that it is coming out on DVD in Iran before the US.

rwrkb
i've been waiting for so long for this movie. and it'll probably not even come anywhere where i'll get to see it. i love david lynch. my film professor once said if someone ever gave me the resources to make films that i would end up another david lynch. she was not trying to compliment me, but i took it as such. Beltmann
What the fuck kind of film professor is she if she doesn't like David Lynch? There are no sacred cows. I'm a little ambivalent about Lynch--love some, hate some--but always eagerly anticipate his work. Unfortunately, Inland Empire isn't coming to Milwaukee until March 23.
