cryptique
clicky It took me quite a while, but I ended up figuring out all 33 of these -- mostly because I had to top my brother, who was stuck at 31, last I heard. There's a bit of a hint (if anyone wants one) hidden in the box below. Not a huge hint, but it may help with a few of these. I can post answers later if there's some demand for them. Some of these puzzles may require you to think from a British perspective. If you're already British, well, bully for you!

cryptique
For a long time, I was hung up on # 19 and 24 (took a while to figure out the wording on those two), plus 30 and 31 (obscure as hell, at least to me). # 5, 9, and 22 are not really the kind of stuff I would know, and those hung me up initially as well. caliber66
30 was just ridiculous. I only got it by trial and error. For 31, I had an idea of what it was, but it took a couple tries before I got the "O" right. 33 was the last one I got, for whatever reason.

plasticeyeball
thanks for making me feel even worse about myself. 1 to 5 is average, 5-11 is somewhat intelligent, 12-19 is intelligent so if you broke 12, your smart as anyone else. some of them are stupid (or at least one) like cryptique got hung up on 19 and 19 was one of the 1st ones i got. i just guessed and typed and it came up right, which them made me think others were just as dumb and i found myself typing things like "8 tits on an owl" and then trying ostrich and then trying toes. getting all 33 is creepy because i googled a few of them and there is no way in hell i would have ever gotten 31. That put me in the proper frame of mind. I knew the terminology only because a while ago I decided that I would learn a bit about that particular subject ... I'd always been curious. I remember you questioning people from afar in posts about the subject recently. I never checked into it after that though. i was going to quit at 21 (- the 2 i googled, so 19) cause i can't spend time today but the last 2 times i went to that tab i got one so now it's sort of fun again.
