Maddie Hope
This article is pages 71-79 and page 75 has an awesome (IMO) picture of JT... the first part RAINDOG posted but like i say it's a long interview but a well thought out one IMO...I wouldn't bother with this article but to me it's a very good article and if I knew how to copy the pages and paste them I would have done it, but with the digital stuff, well I do good to type my name... So here's what you can do to read it. Relix is on some ditigal kick, which is pretty kool once you learn how to work it... First ...Click Here....You should see "Hi, Maddie Hope" at the top of the page. If it says to log in then user name is Maddie Hope and password is skyblueskyThen click on "Free Digital Subscription" (don't worry your using my info to read, your not buying nothing)This will bring up the different issues you could read. Scroll down and Click on the link "click here to read" by the June/July issue...This will bring up a funny looking box... Click "table of contents" scroll down until you see the Wilco article, click and it will take you to the article, like I say it's from page 71-79... Also if you click on the pictures then the first two will bring up "youtube"... the last one doesn't work... Happy Reading... Now home to check out my Blue Sky Blue... RainDogToo
Bringing It All Back Home Jeff Tweedy & Wilco go back to basics with Sky Blue Sky Photos Jay Blakesberg Chicago feels sprawling. One moment dense, the next sparse, as various levels of construction seem to pervade the cityscape anywhere you go. Wilco

Wendy
No problem - threads are moving by pretty fast and furiously with all the hoopla surrounding SBS release tomorrow. This was already on page 2. Thanks for posting the cover pix and the article.

echo
Thanks for posting that article (and the password). It was insightful to get Jeff's take on Jay's Relix interview re: the "main issue" behind UT's demise. I also thought it was interesting to hear how the passing of Jeff's Mom affected the songs on this album. Anyone who's ever lost a parent knows how difficult that time can be and how reflective you become... by far the best sbs interview...thanks again.

m_to_the_c
Can we nominate Maddie Hope for some kind of award? Seriously, posting MP3's on yousendit is one thing, but giving VCers your log-in cred? MVP. (Did anyone else see the portion of the article explaining that there is a completely separate mix that Jim O'Rourke did that the band shelved?!? Sweet!)
Sweet Papa Crimbo
Thanks Maddie...good stuff By the way...the photos of Jeff in the article are outstanding.

Although I am at best a happy observing idiot here, I think Jeff was basically calling "Bullshit" on the story. He's not denying it happened, but obviously feels that Jay is still not coming clean. Dreamin'
I think he handled the Jay Farrar question well. It's a no-win situation and that was the best way to get the interview back on track. As for Jay, he seems to give Jeff a lot of power (oddly). I'm sure he regrets having opened his mouth in the first place. Ugh.
