SarahC
For some reason, I'm not getting anything done at work today...i'm glad i didn't have to work today!
leatherman
It's not too bad, though, cuz I'm leaving at two to pick up my wife and head down to the circle of friends thing beforehand
intodeep
To be optimistic (and hopefully exactly right), usually storms here start around 4:30...right when I leave work and get on the road , but they are TYPICALLY over by 7 or 8. Also, we usually don't have long-lasting downpours, as Sarah stated. This is so true last week like clockwork i think 4 out of the 5 days right around 5pm it started to pour. that is a pretty funny story saraC about you calling in. I have not had pit seats before but i've seen lucky people with them and they aer quite good. No poles to worry about and hopefully the basketball teams are practicing tonight
leatherman
I sat third row pit at chastain for drivin n cryin back in 93 and I remember them being fantastic seats.
jff
No poles to worry about and hopefully the basketball teams are practicing tonight On the Chastain Park parking lot webcam you can see that the Harlem Globetrotters bus just pulled up. Those guys are always in the best seats when I go to Chastain. Sorry Sarah.
raquelita
I have two Orchestra (row d) tickets for sale if anyone is interested or knows anyone that might want them for face value, email me at rachel2229@hotmail.com. My Mom and Sister bailed because of the possibility of rain ~ LOSERS!!! So I have their tickets, and would looooove to trade them for pit tickets ;p

So far there's been no rain in Downtown Atlanta (the same is probably true for the Chastain area). The radar map makes the storm look like it's moving REALLY slowly across Alabama. I don't know what to make of that.
isadorah
I like accuweather.com, they have a good take on the weather for tonight: 7pm thunderstorms9pm cloudy11pm cloudy1am thunderstorms http://www.accuweather.com/us/ga/atlanta/3...&traveler=
jff
Cool, that'd be a pretty good scenario since everyone agrees it IS going to rain at some point. According to this site: http://www.chastainseries.com/faq.php Umbrellas ARE allowed, but not golf (super-sized) umbrellas. This FAQ is specifically for Series concerts. The Wilco show is NOT a Series concert, but the umbrella rule should still be applicable. I have printed out that page, circled the part about umbrellas and intend to carry it with me in case I have any trouble bringing in my umbrella.

It is officially raining in alpharetta (aka close to chastain)
jff
It's 4:24 and starting too look kind of gloomy outside (in Downtown). Looks like the rain is getting ready for it's obligatory appearance at the beginning of the evening commute. Now let's get it over with.
jayacoop
It is officially raining in alpharetta (aka close to chastain)Alpharetta is not particularly close to Chastain. Downtown is closer. But it is raining all over metro right now, and will be for a little while. Showtime is looking fine, however.
