Shelburne Show?

Recommended Posts

I'll be there. Northern Vermont is so beautiful and I can't wait for this show. I'm coming up from Worcester,MA. I'm going to the Pines and Boston too. The Vermont Buddha is excellent and worth the trip alone!

I will be up in VT very early on Friday, if anyone would like meet up at some hip location with my girl and I for a puff session :stunned , (if that is your thing), let me know. I dont know bout the Vermont Buddha, but I'll have the White Widow. Can't freaking wait. Last time I saw Wilco was 2 years to the day of the Shelburne show, at an art gallery in Buffalo.

I'll be driving over from Maine!

Karen

I'm going to the Pines and VT, with Dylan at the Pines inbetween

I'm driving up to Northampton tomorrow and will be in town long enough to catch Dylan, too. I was going to try to head up to the Vermont show from there, but it's just not in my budget right now. I'm hoping they come back east in the fall or winter so I can catch them again.

There's plenty of things to do in the Northampton/Amherst/Holyoke area. I lived up there for most of the summer a few years ago, and I never got bored. With so many colleges around, there are lots of museums that are free or have very affordable admission. You should have no problem finding plenty to do Monday and during the day Tuesday.

I live in VT and have seen several shows at Shelburne. A beautiful venue, yes....but, the shows do end early. Not only that but, because of, what I think is a city ordinance, the sound from the stage is typically less than loud. I'm hoping Wilco will turn the amps up to 11 for this one - regardless, I'm getting there early and staking a claim as close to the stage as possible. I'll be wearing a tye-dyed Garcia button down...may the four winds blow you safely home....if you see me, say hello.. If wilco takes the stage by 7pm that will still give us a good couple of hours - which is, typically, how long they play.

Peace.

Mike
